WHO IS THE CLIENT?

Banlastic Egypt is a social enterprise that aims to ban single-use plastic in Egypt. The startup is based in Alexandria, Egypt and was established in 2018., by a group of professionals in the shipping and logistics field, offering “Service by design”.We aim to Ban plastic bags in Egypt on three levels: 1.Customer awareness, 2. Providing alternative solutions 3. Policy incentives for the public 

WHAT DID THE CLIENT NEED?

The client needed to:

• showcase the products to be able to expand their footprint and sell these products online
• Banlastic also needed to launch an Arabic version of the website to better match their target audience

HOW WE FULFILLED OUR CLIENT’S NEEDS:

We designed a website that:

• has both English and right-to-left (RTL) Arabic interfaces
• has all eCommerce functionalities
• mobile-friendly

And we created a user guide and offered staff training on how to use the administration area of the website
